ReplyDeletethe video for me is about a girl that is still living like a child, maybe because she is afraid to growing up or because her real life is really difficult and confusing that she doesn't want to face it.
that's why the song is really inspiring for me because that's something that a lot of people should pass by.

I think that the song is very good and inspiring...
and the video!! wow is brilliant she looks so beautiful.. when I saw her with blond hair my reaction was like this O.O jaja
I think that what hayley wants to express with the song is that the girl lives in a world where everything seems to be better, with a castle and fairies... but that world isn´t real she just invented it in her mind because is a form to escape from her problems of her real life
in the part of the song where she says: "Well go get your shovel and we'll dig a deep hole to bury the castle" is a form for tells her that she has to open her eyes and see the reality of the things because that world is just a fantasy and she knows that, but she doesn´t want to confront the reality..
I think that this happens with everybody.. at the moments where we want to change the reality and flee of our problems and we decide to sink in our thoughts and fantasies...

the video is about a girl that she didnt wants her live and she likes to dream with a world that she was happy and imagine things that didnt exist. she wants to be important and the only form to be like that is to started to dream something. she was like a princess that goes to her world, she is runnig for her real life, this can be good and can be bad, good because you have to dream to get things that you want, and bad because you can run for the real life you have to face the things.

ReplyDeleteI like the lyric of the song because I think what it says is real. we focus on a fantasy world out of the problems, tragedies and bad that we live...but the truth is that we must live the present with all that we are presenting in our life is either good or bad ... I think we should not create a fantasy world out of the problems and forget the reality because this will only be for a little time and so we do not solve anything. we must leave behind the past, live the present and not worry about our future because God is the only one that helps us out of problems and he gives us the proper solution. he knows how to do things if we go through some tragedy in our lives is because every cloud has a silver lining.

ReplyDeleteI like very much this song because some times we feel bad, we have a lot of problems and not solutions so we want to run away of the reality and build our world and this is the topic of the song...a unreal world full of magic where all is beautiful but this take us far of the reality that we have to confront so we have to leave the magic world to live a real life where sometimes we can found people that hurts our hearts an some other problems that we have to solve.
About the video I think that is amazing because shows very well the topic of the song and make us to reflect and understand more the song.

hi teacher,,, also i want to say that i never heard this kind of music, but i really like the song because it talks about a subject that is really realistic, and you inmidiately get into the song, another thing is that the video explains the song in a better way so in that form you will want to hear the song over and over again..

ReplyDeleteI think that this song is really good and original, is so different because i dont know a lot of songs about fairy tales and unreal worlds, is really good because make you feel good when you have problems.. 'cause when you make an unreal world the problem gets much bigger, and when you see the real world you will see all bad, so this song teach you to face the problem and go ahead with you real life and thats so great! =D.
Also i really like the video she looks so great and different, but i dont like the characters who showed in the way of the little girl...were fearful... but the girl choose the right way! =D :)
i hope to continue doing activities like that..are so great! i really like it!
